Elendil fell on top of his own sword? I don't have the relating HoME at the moment, but I don't think that can be sourced. --Narfil Palùrfalas 19:48, 3 December 2006 (EST)

Narsil broke because his body fell on it. He was already dead though (Sauron killed him when Elendil and Gil-galad rushed him). In order for Narsil to break, he had to have fallen upon it, but that was not how he died. If you really need I can dig out a quote from somewhere. —Tar-Telperien 20:22, 3 December 2006 (EST)
I misworded that. I was actually meaning to ask if that was what killed him. But you answered that. Thanks! --Narfil Palùrfalas 21:27, 3 December 2006 (EST)

Someone came and screwed up this page. Revert it back to it's original page. --Dwarf Lord 23:18, 9 July 2007 (EDT)

Hello Dwarf Lord, if it happens again feel free to just click the History tab, click the date of the last correct edit, click edit, and then click save. Thanks. --Hyarion 00:41, 10 July 2007 (EDT)

I know of no evidence that the Dwarves were indeed present in the battles. Since it is said that all living creatures took part in the Battle of Dagorlad they might indeed have been there, but for sure there is no evidence of Durin himself took part. --Thalion 09:30, 14 March 2008 (EDT)

Quoth Silmarillion, Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age: Of the Dwarves few fought on either side; but the kindred of Durin of Moria fought against Sauron. Most people take this as "Durin IV was at the battle", though this is not stated directly. I'm not sure how Occam's razor would apply here, but maybe include "It is not certain whether Durin (IV) himself fought in the battle or not".-- Ederchil 10:54, 14 March 2008 (EDT)

I am building the War of the Last Alliance page, adding military details as I go. I will be adding some diplomatic and political details to this page to balance it. --Theoden1 11:57, 2 May 2008 (EDT)
