Due to the fact, that the correct name of ''Mandos'' is ''Námo'' and that we have two articles about the same Vala, I want to suggest to merge both articles and to move them to [[Námo]] because this is the correct name of the Vala. Like it was done with [[Irmo]] and his common name ''Lórien'' the [[Mandos]] article would then just redirect to [[Námo]]. Should we mention in the article instances of real-life mythologies where deities wear the name of their realms? Mandos for example reminds me the Greek word Hades, which is both the abode of the dead, and the name of its ruler. The difference is that Namo took the name Mandos after the realm, while the realm of Hades took its name after the god. Is there a similar case in any other mythology? Due to the fact, that the correct name of Mandos is Námo and that we have two articles about the same Vala, I want to suggest to merge both articles and to move them to Námo[former link] because this is the correct name of the Vala. Location as name[edit source]
