Tar-Telemmaitë was the fifteenth King of Númenor. From his time onwards, the Kings ruled from the death of their predecessor to their own demise. Tar-Telemmaitë loved silver and had his servants always searching for mithril[1] (in fact, telemmaitë meant "Silver-handed" in Quenya).[2]
Tar-Telemmaitë either had only one child or his eldest child was a daughter, for upon his death he was succeeded by Tar-Vanimeldë, the third Ruling Queen.[3]
