== Books vs. editions ==
The latter five fields in this template (isbn, publisher, date, format, pages) refer to editions of a book, rather than the book itself. Since it doesn't seem suited to having multiple inputs should I be choosing one edition to fill in the details for? The first? The most recent? --[[User:Aule the Smith|Aule the Smith]] 09:46, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Redo

At one of the meetings, some time ago, we discussed the blatant free commercial we were giving Amazon. After pretty much doing nothing since, I decided to merge part of Mith's Template:Mallorn with this, creating an automated search (so no more having to update prices). Any thoughts, comments? -- Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:48, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think it looks good, I don't think it needs anything else.-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  19:26, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Problem

I've just found a slight problem with the automated search; it seems that both Amazon's and AbeBooks' search doesn't recognise special characters (it changes ú to ú), however eBay does recognise them. Therefore these searches don't work. As far I can see, only the following pages are affected:

So, any ideas on what we should do?-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  17:47, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Maybe a switch? Another variable, "Buy", where "no" gets PAGENAMEE, and anything else gets said anything else? Need to figure out how to do that. Probably means getting two bottom halves-- Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 20:54, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
