Thû was a name for Sauron used by Tolkien in some of earlier periods in the development of his legendarium, particularly the Lay of Leithian, where Thû replaced Tevildo the Cat.

The element Thû reappears in later Noldorin/Sindarin language in the name Gorthaur.
