The Battle of Five Armies is a 2005 board game based on the Battle of Five Armies.

The Battle for Five Armies is a complete boxed game that allows you to recreate the climatic battle from Tolkien's The Hobbit. It contains all of the miniatures, rules, dice and scenery that you need to command Men, Elves, Dwarves and Goblins, in this game of grand strategy.
This boxed set contains: a full colour 96 page rules manual, a host of plastic miniatures (9 characters & Beorn, 24 stands of Goblin infantry, 12 stands of Goblin Wolf Riders, 12 stands of Wargs, 3 stands of Men with bows, 3 stands of Men with spears, 6 stands of Dwarves, 6 stands of Elves with spears, 6 stands of Elves with bows, 3 stands of Eagles, 2 plastic hill sections, plastic ruins, card river sections and assorted dice & templates.[1]
