The Children of Húrin: Deluxe Edition is the special edition of The Children of Húrin which was released at the same time. It is the same as the regular edition with the exception that it is bound in higher quality material and comes in a slipcase with a gold foil stamp.
HarperCollins printed 10,000 copies of the deluxe edition.
Christopher Tolkien signed approximately 900 adhesive book plates which have been glued to some copies of this deluxe edition.
