The Hobbit: There and Back Again is the third of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien's 1937 novel The Hobbit. It will be released on 18 July 2014 in the United States. It was preceded by The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in 2012 and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug in 2013.
