The Shibboleth of Fëanor was a writing by Tolkien in the The Peoples of Middle-earth concerning the Flight of the Noldor and how language affected this. It includes the Quenya father-names of the House of Finwë. As well, it tells the tragic story of the death of Amras at Losgar, and of the naming of him and his twin.
