The Shibboleth of Fëanor is a writing by J.R.R. Tolkien included in the The Peoples of Middle-earth. It concerns the Flight of the Noldor and how language affected this; primarily the change from þ to s. It includes the Quenya father-names of the House of Finwë. As well, it tells the tragic story of the death of Amras at Losgar, and of the naming of him and his twin.
