Third Age 1437 (abbreviated to T.A. 1437) is the 1437th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
- Burning of Osgiliath and loss of the palantír in the river Anduin.[1][2]
- King Eldacar flees to Rhovanion; his son Ornendil is murdered.[1]
- Castamir "the Usurper", Captain of Ships, takes the throne of Gondor to become its twenty-second King.[3]
