Third Age 1945 (abbreviated to T.A. 1945) is the 1945th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 1945 was also known as S.R. 345 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- The Council of Gondor refutes Arvedui's claim;[1] Eärnil II receives the crown of Gondor.[2]
- Angmar War: Around the same time Angmar continues its assaults against Arthedain; King Araphant continues to hold off with dwindling strength, for the rest of his reign.[1]
