Third Age 2930 (abbreviated to T.A. 2930) is the 2930th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2930 was also known as S.R. 1330 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Chieftain of the Dúnedain Arador slain by Trolls.[1]
- Arathorn II, the son of Arador, becomes fifteenth Chieftain.[1]
- Birth of Denethor II, son of Steward Ecthelion II of Gondor.[2]
- Death of Thain Isengrim Took III, who died childless.[3]
- Isumbras Took IV, second son of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb, becomes the twenty-eighth Thain of the Shire.[3]
