1050 | Varda forms the Valacirca. The first 144 Elves (Minyar, Tatyar and Nelyar) awake in Cuiviénen. Melian travels to Beleriand after ascending Taniquetil to see the stars. |

1090 | Valar make war on Melkor in the War for Sake of the Elves. The earth is shaken. The shores of Beleriand are formed and bays are created on the North. Over the next two years Melkor is defeated, and retreats into Utumno. |

1490 | The Valar summon Fëanor who threatens Fingolfin with his sword. They exile him to Formenos and Finwë follows. |
1492 | Melkor visits Fëanor but he repels him. Finwë then warns the Valar and begins to pursue Melkor. Melkor hides and meets Ungoliant in Avathar. |
1495 | Feanor is invited to Valimar where he befriends Fingolfin. Ungoliant destroys the Two Trees and Morgoth kills Finwë in Formenos and steals the Silmarilli. They flee to Beleriand where they debate and scorches his hands. Balrogs arrive and drive Ungoliant out. He stays in Angband and raises the Thangorodrim. Fëanor begins the rebellion and goes to Alqualonde where he fights with the Falmari and steals their swanships. The Flight of the Noldor begins. |
1496 | Mandos (or his messenger) who appears before the Noldor and speaks the Prophecy of the North and the Doom of Mandos. Finarfin with some repent and return to Valinor where he is accepted. Finrod his son becomes the leader of his house and follows Feanor |
1497 | Fëanor and sons enters Beleriand. First Battle of Beleriand. Death of Denethor. Morgoth attacks. First Battle of Beleriand: Thingol is cut of from Cirdan and calls Laiquendi for help. Denethor of the Nandor is trapped and slain by orcs on Amon Ereb and Thingol avenges him by rear destroying the eastern army. The Dwarves from Dolmed slain the retreating orcs. Cirdan with elves from Brithombar and Eglarest attack the western host but are driven back and besieged in their cities. Thingol summons his folk the Girdle of Melian is set around Doriath. The Laiquendi from now on remain hidden and had no other king. For Seven Years of the Sun, the servants of Morgoth control west Beleriand (except Doriath and the Falas).
