Tolkien Gateway:Collaborations

Collaborations are those articles judged to be of major importance or significance but that require a great deal of improvement. The purpose of collaborations is to encourage editors to work together to bring about significant improvement in the articles, usually through expansion, referencing and rewriting, hopefully to the point that they may become a featured article. In order to encourage editors, these articles are showcased on both the Main Page and on the Community Portal.

Collaborations are decided by administrators (who have the ability to edit the Main Page) in consultation with the community, taking into account each article's relative importance, length, number of sources, etc. If you feel an article needs work simply, add it to the list below and it may be selected as the next collaboration.
