Turgon receives Tuor and Voronwë by Ted Nasmith

The Tower of the King, or the Tower of Turgon, was the tower of King Turgon of Gondolin. In its fountain-filled Square of the Palace stood images of the Two Trees of Valinor made by Turgon himself, called Glingal and Belthil.[1]

When Tuor and Voronwë came to Gondolin, they were received by the King in the stairs of the entry to the palace, with Maeglin at his right hand and Idril at his left. There Tuor gave Ulmo's warning to the King with prophetical words.[2]
