Turbine is an American video game developer. It was the developer of The Lord of the Rings Online after purchasing the rights from Vivendi in March 2005. The company was bought by Warner Bros. on April 20, 2010, who also owns New Line Cinema. It remained the developer of the specific game until 2016, when Daybreak Game Company become the new publisher.
In 2018, it was renamed to WB Games Boston.
