The Twelve Houses of the Gondothlim were the kindreds of Gondolin, described in the Fall of Gondolin in great detail. They are as follows:
- House of the Swallow, commanded by Duilin
- House of the Heavenly Arch, also called the House of the Rainbow, commanded by Egalmoth
- House of the Pillar, commanded by Penlod
- House of the Tower of Snow, commanded by Penlod
- House of the Tree, commanded by Galdor
- House of the Golden Flower, commanded by Glorfindel
- House of the Fountain, commanded by Ecthelion
- House of the Harp, commanded by Salgant
- House of the Hammer of Wrath, commanded by Rog
- House of the Mole, commanded by Maeglin
- House of the Wing, commanded by Tuor
