Leeds University main building

The University of Leeds is a centre for learning in the city of Leeds in Yorkshire, England. J.R.R. Tolkien was a professor here between 1921 and 1925. He contributed several poems to Gryphon, Yorkshire Poetry, A Northern Venture and Leeds University Verse.
