About Me

Introduction to Me

Hi! I'm Ancalagon the Black. Yes, I know, Ancalagon is an evil dragon, but he's the greatest of the winged dragons, and I like dragons a lot. I was first introduced to Tolkien's legendarium about a year ago (as of October 2020) when I first watched The Lord of the Rings movies. Since then, I've read The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and The Fellowship of the Ring. Personally, I like The Silmarillion the best.

Favorite Characters

My favorite characters would definitely be Finrod Felagund and High King Fingolfin, as they both decided to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. Finrod was so loyal to Beren, and Fingolfin was so brave to fight Morgoth in single combat.

Tolkien Gateway

I am relatively new to Tolkien Gateway, and I use this website mostly to learn more about J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium. However, I do make small grammatical edits. This page that you're reading right now is the first page I've ever done, and I'm quite nervous on how this is going to turn out.
