I am a young amateur Tolkienist who discovered this site some years ago and, being a big Tolkien fan, engaged myself in improving it in general. My favorite Tolkien readings include his poetry and the tales of the First Age, though I have also recently become more interested in the Second and Third Ages as well. I have been rewriting articles lately for the most part, but I am no longer nearly as active as I used to be.
I personally am a strong Evangelical Christian. I am interested in medieval history, and hope to major in History. My favorite historical period to study is the early Dark Ages/late Antiquity - Byzantium, Pre-Saxon Briton, the Barbarians, all of that sort of folk.
