-dô is one of the (usually agental) suffixes of Primitive Elvish. It is mostly seen with stems ending in N.

The female counterpart is -dê

Etymology

It contains the male ending . It is perhaps related to the extended ending -ondô (q.v.)

Derivatives

The Quenya ending -ndo[1] is possibly a derivative of this ending.
