vomentie is Telerin for "meeting (of two)", cognate of the Quenya omentië

It is only attested with a pronominal ending inflected for genitive: vomentienguo "of our meeting"[1]

Etymology

The word contains the prefix vo-; from this we can isolate mentie, looks like the gerund of a verb *menta-, perhaps from the stem MEN "go" [2].

A vo-ment-ie would then be a "together-go-ing", a going together: two parties meeting.
