The Walls of the World were the walls that surrounded Ea.[1] Outside them, through the Door of Night, there is the Void.[2]
Other versions of the legendarium
In earlier cosmology such as the Ambarkanta, the Walls of the World were called Ilurambar in Qenya and they bounded the layer of Vaiya.
