The Water-valley was a gentle valley in the Shire.

History

The Water-valley was the valley of the Water.[1] The Great East Road was constructed in the wide valley, and the towns of Hobbiton, Bywater, Frogmorton and Whitfurrows were located in it.[2] Bilbo Baggins took Frodo for many a long walk through the valley.[3]
