Zamîn was an old woman who was a servant of Erendis in Númenor during the early part of the Second Age. She lived in Erendis' isolated White House in the countryside of Emerië. Zamîn was a childhood companion of Erendis' daughter Ancalimë, who would one day reign over Númenor as its first Ruling Queen.

Etymology

Zamîn's name appears to be Adûnaic, but its meaning is impossible to determine.
