auta-

auta- is a Quenya verb meaning "go away, leave (the point of the speaker's thought)".[1]

- Auta i lómë! = "The night is passing!"[2] (aorist tense)
- Yéni ve lintë yuldar avánier = "The years have passed like swift draughts"[3] (plural perfect tense)
