Eldalótë
From Tolkien Gateway
(Redirected from Eldalôtë)
Eldalótë (Q, pron. [ˌeldaˈloːte]) was a Noldorin lady and wife of Angrod. Her son was Orodreth, a lord of Nargothrond. She does not seem to have joined her husband and son into exile, as she is not mentioned in any of the tales of Beleriand.

[edit] Etymology
Eldalótë means "High-elven Flower" in Quenya (from Elda = "High Elf" and lótë = "flower"). The Sindarin version of her name is Edhellos (also spelled Eðellos; pron. [eˈðelːos]).
