Fíli (Third Age 2859 - 2941, 72 years old) was the brother of Kíli and nephew of Thorin II Oakenshield (their mother Dís's oldest brother). He accompanied his uncle along with his brother Kíli and ten other Dwarves on the Quest of Erebor. Together Kili and Fili were the youngest of Thorin and Company. After helping find Smaugs treasure Fíli was slain with his brother while defending his mortally wounded uncle in the Battle of Five Armies.

Fíli is a dwarf from the Norse mythology and the name means "File".
