Forum:Italicising page titles

I think that it might be a good idea to start using {{DISPLAYTITLE:''Forum:Italicising page titles''}} to italicise page titles where appropriate (i.e. at The Lord of the Rings and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring etc.). I don't know if people think it's a good idea or not. Nonetheless, we won't be able to do it until we tweak the Cavendish and Mithilien skins to parse italics as it should. You can see the problem for yourself in the header of this page. It works in the Vector skin, as you can see by clicking here.-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  18:09, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

I'm in favour, and have been thinking of suggesting it myself. It looks professional.--Morgan 18:24, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I'm also in favour of it. If it can be made to work we may need instructions for use put in the Help section. --Gamling 19:15, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I've fixed this for both skins. I would advise everyone not to use Cavendish, though, until I have rewritten it. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 13:55, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, it's working now. :) --Amroth 14:04, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Good work!-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  14:13, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Just a minor point: we should all follow the precedent set by Mith and place the {{DISPLAYTITLE:}} tag above the categories (and above DEFAULTSORT where appropriate) within each article.-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  14:32, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
When people come across a publication article, be sure to italicise the title! :) -- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  22:31, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
