The Elvish tongues, Quenya and Sindarin, are far from complete, and there are many very simple English words for which we have no recorded translation. Grandfather is one of them. *Haru is neo-Sindarin for "wound". So sadly, no-one can help you here. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 17:16, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
You could write it out like 'father of my father'(or mother), like 'atar o-atarinya' (father of my father) or 'atar o-amilinya' (father of my mother) in Quenya. ~denDAY 17:43, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
That would be so contrived you can question whether it's actually worth inking it on your skin. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 17:47, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Furthermore, I am not aware of the "o-" constructions that denDAy proposes. According to the canonical samples of Quenya, they should rather be "atarinyo/amilinyo" instead of "o-atarinya/o-amilinya" Sage 10:21, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
