Swans of Gorbelgod
(Redirected from Gorbelgod)
The Swans of Gorbelgod were a race of swans, told about in legends on Númenor. They were apparently white and of an unusually great size, greater than normal birds.[1] Little else can be said about these creatures, and where the site of Gorbelgod was situated.

In the manuscript, J.R.R. Tolkien at first used the name Dur nor-Belgoth, which was changed to Gorbelgod.[2]
