I think it would be clearer to call this article Editing Help or something and add (at least) a list of templates that can be used in articles. I know that you (Hyarion) have created lots of Templates, but I don't know how to find them, as they are lost somewhere in the depths of the Recent Changes. Or else create a SpecialPages:Templates article with a short Templates for Dummies and the listing of them? --Earendilyon 06:28, 23 April 2006 (EDT)
- I agree, the Help page really needs a lot of work. Hopefully in the future it will be a portal for editing help, template help, etc. The Templates are halfway categorized, I'll work on fixing that right now. Hello! I'm new here, and was just wondering, what's the general procedure regarding verb tense? Usually while reporting/talking about/discussing most novels, the literary present tense is used, but I wasn't too sure for LOTR related topics, since the stories are suppose to be a historical account, (am I correct about this fact?) So, should we/I use the lit. present or the past tense? - I'll add a Tense section to the Help page and I'll probably move this discussion to the forums. We try and treat articles such as Aragorn II as past tense as if it actually happened. Although I believe for articles relating to the languages we use a present tense as if the language is still being used. Articles relating to the real world like collectibles and such can have present tense. --Hyarion 16:18, 7 February 2007 (EST)

Yesterday, I had this great idea. It just escaped me as soon as I clicked "edit" on the meeting page, and I rather write it down now before I forget it again.
Concerning Help. Does anyone think, that, apart from References, any other help pages are needed? Help:User Page? Help:Portrayal in adaptations? Help:Layout?
