The House of the Mírdain was the guildhouse and chief dwelling of Celebrimbor and the jewelsmiths of Eregion - the Gwaith-i-Mírdain. It contained the smithies and the treasures of the Mírdain.[1] It was destroyed by the forces of Sauron in S.A. 1697 when he invaded Eriador.[2]
