Mablung of the Heavy Hand

Mablung "of the Heavy Hand" was a captain and marchwarden to King Elu Thingol of Doriath. He participated in the Hunting of the Wolf, touching the Silmaril with his own hands. He was slain in the assault of the Dwarves on Menegroth.
