Peredhil

Peredhil (sing. Peredhel) was a name for the "Half-elven" in Sindarin.[1][2][3] Elrond Half-elven and Elros Tar-Minyatur were named Peredhil.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The word consists of the elements per-, "half"[4] and edhel "elf".[2]
