You're probably right. . . we use "mannish" instead of "mennish". Do we have an instance where Tolkien uses the word (in either form)? --Narfil Palùrfalas 10:39, 12 July 2007 (EDT)

The article should feature in the introduction that Dúnedain means Númenórean and that technically also the Black Númenóreans are Dúnedain. It should then be clarified that the term was nevertheless primarily used for the Faithful of the Númenóreans after the Downfall of Númenor and that the term Black Númenóreans was primarily used for the Kingsmen after the Downfall. --Akhorahil 17:45, 1 January 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
