In The Silmarillion, the family-tree of Elwë shows the Eärwen was the only child of Olwë. However, in the text she is said to have brothers, whose names are unknown. - Where in the text is that said? I couldn`t find any hint for any brothers of Earwen. Please help me, I need ths information! --Beren_fox 10:23, 7 February 2007 (EST)

  • All right, found it on p. 60 in the Silmarillion. --Beren_fox 11:18, 8 February 2007 (EST)

Feanor in Genealogy?[edit source]

Feanor is one of the most important figures of the Silmarillion, but it still seems like a stretch (literally, looking at the width of the chart) to include him and Miriel in the chart for Earwen. Is "half-brother-in-law" notably enough kinship to include? :) -jerodast 19:14, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

True; many genealogical tables on this wiki are way too broad, in my opinion. IvarTheBoneless 19:18, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Agree. In cases like this, Feanor should go out. --LorenzoCB 19:58, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
