On alphabetical order of names[edit source]

The customs applying to Dutch names in the Netherlands say that Réne van Rossenberg should be alphabetized as "Rossenberg, Réne van", not as "van Rossenberg, René". There is a second error in the latter form as, when not preceded by first name or initials, "van" should be capitalized. These should apply as René is a Dutchman. If, however, he were a Belgian, the name should be alphabetized as "Van Rossenberg, René" and the "Van" should always be capitalized. Such are the intricacies of Dutch nomenclature as used in The Netherlands and Belgium ... --Mithrennaith 19:53, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

Move?[edit source]

Could this list not just be part of the main article?-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  17:52, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wouldn't that make for an annoyingly long primary article? --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:05, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
In the ideal universe I would put it in the main article and use show/hide on the table. -- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  18:26, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
