Talk:Mannish

[edit] Khuzdul and Avarin

1. Khuzdul is mentioned quite awkwardly - it says "the language of Hador" (wait, is that even a correct expression?) retained Khuzdul - the awkward part is that the article has not mention of Khuzdul before.

2. Avarin is not mentioned at all, yet from what I remember, it did play a part in forming Mannish, too. Right? But I can't reference.--Adûnâi 02:02, 3 June 2019 (UTC)

It doesn't say "retained khuzdul" but "the language was retained and [subsequently] was influenced by khuzdul".
And yes, it is well documented in other articles here that Men met Avari in the east. Look for example the article Taliska. But I am not ure if these "Dark Elves" are Avari or by the Nandor in the east. An article can't contain always all possible information, and that's why sometimes they keep being edited and improved during the course of years. Last time I worked on this article I didn't notice the absence of an Avarin reference. If you think it is important enough to be included here, go on. Sage 07:12, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
