Your observation seems to be correct. As far as I can see, there's nothing in the cited source which would explicitly indicate that Morinehtar refers to Alatar, and that Rómestámo/Róme(n)star would refer to Pallando. Perhaps the parallelism between "Alatar and Pallando" and "Morinehtar and Rómestámo" has engendered this belief.--Morgan 21:37, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
