The Fat
From Tolkien Gateway
There are few characters in Tolkien's works whose defining characteristic is their girth. Perhaps the best known, and indeed the only one mentioned by name in The Lord of the Rings, is Forlong the Fat, the Lord of Lossarnach who met his fate in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. In his Letters, though, Tolkien introduces us to a character who shares Forlong's title - Lalia the Fat, the widow of Thain Fortinbras Took II of the Shire.
