The Name Coventry

The Name Coventry is the published title of a letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to the Editor of The Catholic Herald, written on 10-11 February 1945.^[1]

• Publication: The letter was published in The Catholic Herald (23 February 1945).^[2][1] Extracts from the letter also appeared in The Catholic Herald (18 September 1981).^[3]
