The Tolkien Gateway: Conference (TG:C) or Online Tolkien Conference (OTC) is still simply an idea but the general plan is to eliminate extravagant travel, hotel, food, entry, etc. expenses for a Tolkien conference which would take place 100% online. The event would take place over the weekend, possibly Friday as well, and would incorporate numerous attractions to not only interest the Tolkien scholars but the new fans as well.

- Include information on how to join the numerous Tolkien societies.

- Web scavenger hunts
- All of the above are simply ideas and have not been implemented
