[edit] Anonymous Validation
I've been toying with the idea of adding a validation process for anonymous editors. This would mean when someone who is not logged in submits an edit it would have to be approved by an editor. We have been receiving increasing amounts of spam lately and this would put a stop to most of it. The implementation would take no more than adding a line to the config file for MediaWiki, this could also easily be added so that any user's edits must be validated prior to posting but I do not think the time has come for this yet. What does everyone think, are being able to edit the wiki anonymously too important? --Hyarion 22:55, 14 December 2005 (EST)
