Hello forum!
I was just wondering if there is any writings of Gandalf's journey into Dol Guldur, to see if was really Sauron, and finding the dwarf king Thráin. I have looked through most of the Tolkien books I own but I haven't found the story in more detail!
Could you please tell me where I could find the writings!{{unsigned|81.154.45.20}}

:The only place you will find such information is in the appendices (timeline), there are references to this in The Hobbit (i.e. meeting [[Thráin II]] in the dungeons of [[Dol Guldur]] and getting the key & map etc.). Hope this helps!--{{User:KingAragorn/sig}} 19:46, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
