:Not in the published Silmarillion, but in the Unfinished Tales (2.III., The Line of Elros, p. 222) the titles held by Ar-Adûnakhôr are told to be blashphemous, "for they signified 'Lord of the West', by which title they [= the Faithful] had been wont to name one of the great Valar only, <u>Manwë in especial</u>." Thus we might call Manwë "in especial" the "Lord of the West", even if the title is not elsewhere used in singlular. --Tik 10:30, 14 April 2016 (UTC)<br />
