Tolkien Gateway is excited to announce the grand opening of our first forum. I've spent the night installing a new forum script (amongst a few others) which will allow us to converse easier instead of having to use the pesky [[Tolkien_Gateway_talk:_Community_Portal|Community Portal page]]. You can easily create a new topic by going to the [[Forum:Council|Council forum home]] and typing in your title in the textbox and hitting enter. You can reply to a post by editing the page and using the standard colon (which creates a tab) or a * for a bullet followed by a reply, etc. What does everyone think? I don't think it is necessary to create forums such as for [[The Lord of the Rings]], etc as we should leave this to the real [[J.R.R. Tolkien]] forums out there.
