I've have three topics here. The first is that I know of a controvercial pronounciation and I'm wondering how TG people pronounce Erech in Stone of Erech.
<br>Secondly, I'd like to know how to make those vertical lines so often used in formatting on this wiki.
<br> Lastly, I'd like to draw peoples' attention to the "Featured Quote" nominations etc. as we haven't had a new one in quite some time...''And That's The Way The Cookie Crumbles!''--{{User:Breragor/sig}}
:Erech is not Elvish but I guess it should be pronounced like one (German ch, like greek χ and not like 'Charlie'). As for the vertical lines I don't understand; which articles contain them? can you show? [[User:Sage|Sage]] 00:31, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
::I agree on Erech. As for the "vertical lines", I think you mean the [[wikipedia:Pipe_(character)|Pipe]]. It's upper case \. And a fourth thing: work on your sig, now it disrupts the rest of the text.-- {{User:Ederchil/sig}} 19:42, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

:::First off, I know there's a prob with my sig, but I can't fix it. Secondly, you say upper case of / but how do you do that? Breragor

::::If you mean <nowiki>|</nowiki> this one, it's the on in upper case \, not /. It's usually near backspace. If you mean another, please tell me which one. -- {{User:Ederchil/sig}} 08:14, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

No, that's it (|), thanks. Breragor

:::When you said that Erech should be pronounced with a German ch, did you mean the ich-laut, or the harsher kind?--[[User:Aragorn47|Aragorn47]] 20:30, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

I believe he meant it similar to the Hebrew way (which is similar to German). It's a rolling -chet ("ch" is rolled, like your coughing up a hair ball). I gues that's a good way to think of it. (Also, it's good to see you at NS2 and ME){{User:Breragor/sig}}|

:I'm not posotive, but I'm pretty sure that Erech is pronounced 'er-ek'. At least that's how I've always said it. -Galadriel
