:You answered your own question. In "right of/to rule", the oldest goes first. (I.E. Boromir before Faramir, Isildur before Anarion, etc.) Therefore, Galadriel would rule untill she decided to pass into Aman, then her House or Elrond's (Elrohir or Elladan).[[User:Breragor|A good day to me, is waking up in Middle Earth!]] 23:54, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Hello,

I'm no expert in Tolkien, but I believe that in the article "Gondor," the White Tree is described as planted in the incorrect city. I would change this myself, but I don't want to mess things up if I'm incorrect.

:No, I'm pretty sure that's correct. A seedling from the tree of Minas Ithil was taken to Minas Tirith later, but originally it was planted in the former location. Ya. In 'The Fellowship of the Ring' at the Council of Elrond, Gandalf and Boromir make it known that AFTER the War of the Last Alliance, Isildur returns to Minas Anor for a little while, and, in memory of Anarion, plants the last sapling of the White Tree. However, prior to this Isildur had already planted a sapling of the tree in Minas Ithil.
